Edward J. Ternan

Financial Advisor
Education: BS Political Science, Santa Clara University; MBA Pepperdine University

Ed joined SFE in 2005, after a successful career in the building products industry where he was responsible for marketing, sales and product development for a $50 million adhesive product line. He subsequently held key positions in the computer software and government contracting businesses, where he focused on business development and strategic partnerships.

Ed works closely with his clients to align their investment strategies with their long term goals, both personal and professional. As part of the "sandwich generation" with grown children and aging parents, Ed understands the generational issues that impact family finances - and the importance of addressing them with care. His perspective is also informed by his varied business experience, which is valued by his clients, many of whom are owners/operators of small or family companies.

Ed’s wife of 29 years, Mary, is a gerontologist and Director of Pastoral Care at Holy Family Church in South Pasadena, CA. Ed is active in the community and acts as an advisor to several Catholic organizations.
